Warren Photographic Society

Warren Photographic Society will hold its third meeting for the 2011-2012 season on Thursday, October 13. from 7:00 - 9:00 in the Auditorium at the Trumbull Career & Technical Center, next to Kent State, Trumbull Branch. TCTC is located on 528 Educational Highway, Warren, OH 44483.
Everyone interested in photography, regardless of their level of experience in photography, is encouraged to attend. The club's level of expertise ranges from the very beginner to hobbyists, to professional photographers. Anyone interested in joining the club is welcome to participate .

The first two meetings of the new year have attracted ten new members. The October 13 meeting will feature tutorials on Photoshop Elements presented by members Jim Winger and Ken Yarwick .

The club officially meets on the second and fourth Thursdays. Although the club participates in friendly voluntary internal competition, the emphasis is placed on sharing information, ideas, and experiences with each other and helping one another to develop and enjoy their photography skills.
The current schedule for this year includes indoor and outdoor photo shoots, Model Photoshoot, a macro photography presentation, a presentation on editing with photoshop, guest speakers, photo critiques, an equipment night to discuss issues / problems, and lots more. In addition to the scheduled activities, members often get together informally at other times of the month to discuss photography - related issues or problems, and also for some photo shoot opportunities.
